Although I did not keep in touch w/ Emily after high school, she stands out in my memories at Helix. I do remember her eyes, her smile, her giggle and laughter, her upbeat attitude and good cheer. She could befriend anyone with those attributes. This year I am especially saddened at the news of the passing of another classmate; in Feb, my sister, Tina Bracka Halvorsen (Helix Class of 1980) lost her battle w/ brain cancer after less than 4 mths from the onset of symptoms and diagnosis/surgery. My condolences to Emily's family.
